Almond is an excellent brain food. According to Ayurveda, one should consume 5 soaked Almonds every morning to boost the brain's performance.
Ingredients required:
1 litre of Full Cream Milk
250g of Almonds
2 tsp Sugar
Directions:
1) Soak the almond for about 8 hours in the water.
2) Then, remove the skin of the Almond.
3) Blend the Almonds along with 500ml of milk.
4) Sieve the blended Almond using a siever.
5) Take 10 tsp of the sieved Almond and add it back into the sieved milk.
6) Mix the remaining milk into the sieved milk.
7) Add sugar and few saffron flower (optional).
8) For better health benefits, add Chia seeds (optional) and a pinch of yellow turmeric (optional)
9) You can also add a pinch of Borneo-Camphor / edible camphor / Pacha Karpooram (Tamil)
It is now ready to be served. It is best served cold.
