Religion & The Gates of Heaven
I went to the church once and the Father told me to remove my chain which had the inscription of my religious symbol on it, saying, "It's either Jesus or your God". Dismayed, I removed the chain and walked out.
I then decided to pray 5 times a day like the Muslims, only to be told off that "Allah" was a word exclusive only to Muslims and not to Qafirs like me. I stopped praying and decided to go to the Hindu temple.

Life Is Like A Video Game

Life is like a video game. As you grow, you advance to different levels of Life. And these levels get harder and harder but with the experience and consistency that one develops from the previous levels, these levels will be easy to deal with.
And then, there are "walkthroughs and guides" in the form of religious texts. Some are centuries old and some are recent. All of them have one thing in common: to provide tips to deal with this game called Life.

Becareful Of What You Wish For!
There was a maiden in a village who earned a meager earning, working as a sweeper in an old ranch. She lived in poverty, often times going hungry for days. She had a dream, a hope. She dreamt of a prince riding on a horse, sweeping her off her feet and rescuing her from her fate.
A prince did come one fine day, handsome, well off, and well established from a far off kingdom and he did sweep her off her feet. They married and she lived in a golden castle atop a hill. But she was never happy.

The Peace Seeker
One day, I grew so tired of life that I quit my job, took out my savings and went to the Himalayas. I reached India, took a train ride, then a bus and finally travelled by foot. My goal was the highest peak in the Himalayas, Mount Kailash.
I bathed in the Lake Manasarovar and then walked slowly for days, with little food to eat, little sleep. I was exhausted, but I wanted to be at the peak.
