Ang Mei Hwa graduated with a degree in Education and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Linguistics.

She has found her purpose of life and her love for animals gradually grew stronger when her first love, a Mongrel, taught her some life lessons of appreciation, compassion and gratitude to all living beings.

This outlook of life has led her to realise her mission in helping the voiceless ones and trying her utmost best to educate the public apart from raising awareness.

Since then, Mei Hwa has been volunteering at and contributing to various shelters and non-profit organisations for animals.

Her love for animals has prompted her efforts to further learn and seek information pertaining to the animal kingdom. She strongly upholds the notion: “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil but because of the people who don’t do anything about it” – Albert Einstein.

Mei Hwa hopes that through her work, she will be able to instil positive influence and inspire the society to nurture a culture that is capable of helping, if not compassionately caring all living beings. The not-so-young budding columnist (as Mei Hwa calls herself) will be contributing her articles pertaining to animals on Holistic Living Annex.
